Meet some of the people working behind the scenes for the Child & Adolescent Bipolar Foundation.
The Child & Adolescent Bipolar Foundation includes the following:
Members' children are the heart and soul of CABF. CABF membership is for parents, guardians, and others caring for children with pediatric bipolar disorder. CABF also offers professional memberships to those who serve our children. CABF's parent-led Board of Directors sets policy, governs, and plans for our growing organization.
Scientific Advisory Council Prominent scientific researchers, clinicians, and other experts advise CABF and review content of materials for scientific accuracy.
Staff Working closely with the Board of Directors, our Executive Director and Team Leaders assist, guide, and act as spokespeople for our dedicated and skilled volunteers ("supporting members") and members. Led by the staff and and assisted by a few specialized consultants, supporting members contribute to this Web site, respond to parents seeking information and support, and work with other organizations to advocate for needed research and services.
Volunteers Parent volunteers and other supporters, working mostly from home on CABF Teams, carry out the mission of CABF. Check out current volunteer opportunities ranging from brief tasks to ongoing positions of responsibility.
Donors CABF needs financial resources to carry out its mission. CABF uses such support to staff and provide evolving technology for innovative, cost effective programs and services. Individual donors, including families who wish to memorialize or honor loved ones with bipolar disorder, help CABF help others by making financial contributions.
Sponsors and affiliates. Charitable foundations, corporations, and other institutions provide financial and in-kind resources for CABF programs and complement our efforts with their own programs, institutional strengths, and expertise. Details about sponsorship opportunities are available upon request.
